Wynford Farm is the only Aberdeen Angus farm within Aberdeen City limits. We have a purebred herd suckler herd of Aberdeen Angus which produce superb tasting, tender, marbled organic beef.

All of our beef was raised on our farm, the ultimate in traceability.

We are proud of our Aberdeen Angus cattle, the cows have a gentle nature and rich milk which makes them ideal mothers. The calves are with the cows for about a year and then graze on the lush clover and herb rich grassland. We use no chemicals on the grassland, or indeed anywhere on the farm.

Our new bull has just joined the farm and he is keen to work, he is a massive chap and we hope that he will pass on his size and quiet nature to his calves like his predecessor.

Pasture is grazed in a traditional rotation, to prevent the build up of pests and provide a clean, healthy system which avoids use of drugs and antibiotics.

In winter the animals are sheltered from the worst of the weather in loose, airy steadings on straw bedding. This is composted and used as a soil conditioner/fertiliser the following year. The cattle have never been fed any drugs, growth promoting hormones, antibiotics or GMO food, just organic grass, oats and peas.
